My previous role as CEO of a not-for-profit fraternal life insurance company has provided me with a unique perspective on risk management and a deep understanding of the vital role insurance plays in safeguarding everything you’ve worked hard to achieve.

As the son of a Portuguese immigrant, family and close friendships hold great significance for me. My wife, Linda, and our three children—Matthew (and Felicia), Monica, and Lindsey—are the center of my life, and I cherish the moments we share together. I am also fortunate to have my parents, who still reside in Rodeo, as an important part of our lives.

Whether it’s family gatherings, cultural celebrations, golf outings, cooking together, or camping adventures, I truly value the blessings life offers. These experiences enrich my life and fuel the passion I bring to both my personal and professional endeavors.

A lifelong resident of Contra Costa County, I am proud to serve as a State Farm Agent in the community where I was raised. Born at Brookside Hospital and raised in Tara Hills, I attended Kerry Hills Elementary, Pinole Jr. High, and graduated from Pinole Valley High School, where I was involved in football, track, student leadership, and my parish at St. Joseph’s Church. The communities of Pinole, Hercules, Rodeo, Port Costa, Crockett, San Pablo, Richmond, and El Cerrito hold a special place in my heart—I truly know West County!
