My background as a former CEO of a not-for-profit fraternal life insurance company has given me valuable insight into risk management and the important role insurance plays in protecting what you’ve worked so hard to build.

As a devoted son of a Portuguese immigrant, family and close friendships are very important to me. My wife, Linda, and our three children—Matthew (and Felicia), Monica, and Lindsey—are at the heart of my life, and I treasure the time we spend together. I’m also grateful to have my parents, who still live in Rodeo, as a meaningful part of our lives.

Whether we’re enjoying family gatherings, cultural events, a round of golf, cooking together, or camping trips, I truly appreciate the blessings life brings. These experiences enrich my life and inspire the passion I bring to both my personal and professional journey.

As a lifelong resident of Contra Costa County, I’m proud to serve as a State Farm Agent in the community where I was raised. Born at Brookside Hospital and raised in Tara Hills, I attended Kerry Hills Elementary, Pinole Jr. High, and graduated from Pinole Valley High School, where I was active in football, track, school leadership, and my parish at St. Joseph’s Church. The towns of Pinole, Hercules, Rodeo, Port Costa, Crockett, San Pablo, Richmond, and El Cerrito hold a special place in my heart—I truly know West County!
